Okay as of recently I have been diagnosed with influenza A,otherwise known as Swin Flu, and bronchidis. Due to this illness I have been damned to be locked within my house, walking through it as though I was a ghost. Also because of this cursed condition I must also wear a medical mask or a mask of sorts to cover my nose and mouth, so as to not spread it further within my family or outside this newly found prison I call home.
But to be honest I would rather stay within the shadows that contain my temporary sanctuary because I have seen how the beings on the outside react to me. For the brief moment I was outside my house I went to the doctors, on my way home I stopped at the pharmacy at Shopko. I, under strict instructions from the doctor, of course wore my mask in and made myself scarce as Dad went to the counter to order my medications. I was told by him to walk in and try to disappear without going too far away from him, so I hid in a few of the isles keeping my head low. As people I accidentally crossed came into view of me they immediately backed up and went down different isles to avoid me as though I were carrying the black plague. As this continued for the 30 minute wait for my medication confimation to go through so I could get them, I began to realize that I was no longer considered a human to these people. And if I was I was considered a very low form of it, but to these people I was most likely the infection itself. So out of some demented humor I stumbled upon a thought to help pass the time. As I continued to wander aimlessly through the store I began to hum Ring Around The Rosie in that soft voice that is often heard in horror films when the demented child is singing. And me being me added the small,creepy little giggle everytime someone passed me. Finally my dad retrieved me and took me to my place of work to give my boss(my mom) my sick note. As soon as she read it she looked at me with wide eyes and told my dad, not too quietly I might add, to get me the hell out of the store, that I can't be in there. So even my mom looked at me as though I were about to kill everyone just by looking at them. Dad quickly ushered me out and took me home where I laid on the couch with the lights turned off and covers over me. Okay so I know no one can really blame people for being afraid, but still it hurts to know that people that I know would look at me like I'm death itself.
So yeah this has ultimately been the worst day by far for me. Everything hurts, I feel as though I'm being stabbed every few seconds, my head won't stop spinning, it hurts to move my eyes, my throat is on fire, and I'm coughing constantly,and it hurts to see sunlight.So a word from the wise guard yourself as well as you possibly can from this flu, or else you'll be in a whole lot of pain.
